I'm at a point now where the process is really sound, you know, the outcomes are going to fluctuate. With the opportunities the market gives to you, you know, sometimes there's black swan events, unforeseen things. I get things wrong all the time. But I'm quite comfortable with a focus on the process and acceptance of the outcome. So as long as that process is really sound, I'm quite comfortable with the idea. And I think I'm at a point in life where

I really want to take a bet on myself. And I have a great deal of confidence in my ability to

navigate the markets. It's definitely my passion. So I thoroughly enjoy it. You know, sorting

through this puzzle is just absolute joy to me. It never feels like work. A single theme is too knowing for great minds and daring hearts.

Ryan, it's such a pleasure to do this again. I know you don't know this, but I do consider you my financial mental. And what I love about you, though, is you're so much more than you're

fascinated by the financial markets and you have so much knowledge. But you're also such a cool,

interesting, awesome guy too. So maybe before we even start talking about finance and all the things we're going to talk about, let's just recap the last 12 months of your life. I feel like you've had some awesome changes. Yeah, well, God, that's such a nice compliment, man. I really appreciate it. I always love talking to you. I'm really looking forward to this. Such a great opportunity to catch up.

God, the last 12 months, it's like, where do I start? I think it's funny because my wife,

who you know and I have this tradition that we do every year, where we will guess the theme of the year on about late December or January 1st for the coming year. And then at the

end of the year, we look back and say, were we right or were we wrong? You know, and most of the

time we're way off. But this year we were, we were pretty spot on. So we had set in motion

a plan in our own life to make some pretty big life changes right around this time.

And so we called this year opening sequence, which was just kind of a play on chess for any chess

lovers out there, which is basically to say like how you position the game, kind of your first

few moves and how you get ready strategically for trying to play the game

to win or just to have a good time or whatever your ultimate goal is.

So as we look back on this year, which we did over this past weekend, it was pretty accurate.

So for my life over the course of the last two decades, I've spent most of my professional career
