Hello everybody and welcome to the Sessions, a fun episode with a woman that just freaking

loves some pro rasslin, passionate is the big word that comes to mind when I think of

this woman from the time that I've seen her in her career over the duration of the last

couple years, whether or time in WWE or time together at AEW, now she's doing as the ring

of honor women's world champion, Athena is in the hot seat today, fresh off of her stint

from being out in L.A. running on no sleep, plenty of caffeine, we talk all things wrestling,

we talk all things Athena, we talk about what the locker room culture is like, we talk

about the differences between AEW and ring of honor, we talk about what those locker rooms

look like, the passion that she brings, some of the matches that she wants to have, reigniting

her love of professional wrestling, something that felt like it was slipping between the grips

of her fingers at one point to find that love for the game again and honestly that was when

my big takeaways from this conversation when she starts talking about the match that kind

of reminded her who she was and gave herself the value that she had been kind of seeking and

that did not have a monetary gain behind it was more so just about getting out there and

doing the thing that you love for fans that love this sport and entertainment just as much as

we all do. It was really cool to hear her talking about that moment and the emotions.
