All right, so several months back, we sent out a survey, just to ask our listeners what they thought of job with Julie.

And many of you responded, and one of the questions that we asked you was, what topics would you like us to cover that we haven't covered yet?

And one of the topics that came up a few times was the issue of infertility, and particularly the impact infertility has on marriage

and on intimacy. So that's what we're going to cover today at the coffee shop and I have two new

right? Salana. Salana. I was so close. Yeah, see, see the funny things people always say my last name wrong

and i try but i'm just not good at it well thanks for joining us on you two women drove down

from denver to have coffee here in collars spring so i appreciate the ministry that we're going to do

together today and i guess a good place to start is just to ask you a little bit about your own journey

with infertility.

And, Jamie, why don't we start with you?

Yeah, sure.

Well, my husband and I, I got married a little later in life, so it wasn't a spring chicken.

So we knew when we got married that we needed to start trying to have a

family like right away per doctor's recommendation. So, you know, when I think they define

infertility these days at six months. So very quickly we realized that we weren't getting pregnant.

So we sought some medical advice with the great clinics in Denver.

And we started our first round of IVF.

But you have to go through a lot of testing.

As most people know that have gone through this journey,

it usually takes six, seven months of just testing before you can even start the process.

So we started that journey.
