Summary

Exodus 19: 1-8, 16-20 Today we hear Moses called to the top of Mount Sinai where God gives him the 10 commandments. We learn what a commandment is. Next week, we'llgo through the 10 commandments and hear what they are but today, we will focus on why we even have them. God gave them and us these 10 rules which showed how life worked best. We begin to understand that rules are there to protect us b/c God loves us. The kids apply this to a rule in their life to help them better understand this. 0:57.0	This comes from Exodus chapter 19 verses 1 through 8 and 16 through 20.

1:15.0	Okay, last week we heard the Israelites win in the battle against the Amalakites.
1:23.0	After the battle, they gathered up their gear.
1:29.0	Moms carried the babies in their swaddles.
1:32.0	Grandparents helped guide the kids and off they all set again, leaving Refidin.
1:41.0	They continued their journey from Egypt to the promised land.
1:45.0	In fact, it's been three months since they've left Egypt.
1:52.0	The large group walked together as the grains of sand scrunched from under the weight of their feet.
2:00.0	Finally, they arrived at the desert of Sinai.
