Summary

Exodus 17:8-13 Today we hear about the battle with the Amalekites. During this battle, Moses must keep his arms raised or else the Israelites begin to lose! When Moses grew tired, he had two helpers at his side: Aaron & Hur. We apply that God gives us people to help us too. God created us to be with others.... to have family and friends, a church, & a community. He gives us people who can help us when we grow tired, just like he did for Moses. 1:12.0	This comes from Exodus chapter 17 verses 8 through 13.
1:17.0	Today we are introduced to a new group of people named the Amalakites.
1:23.0	They do not like God's people, the Israelites.
1:28.0	This dislike is so, so strong that they are in fact enemies.
1:35.0	So as the Israelites are journeying through the desert on the way to the promised land,
1:41.0	it is not a good thing that they collide with the Amalakites.
1:49.0	We pick up our story here.
1:55.0	The Amalakites came and attacked the Israelites at referendum.
2:03.0	I wonder if the Israelites saw this scary army coming towards them.
