My name is Ben.

Welcome back to another episode and if it's your first time here it's going to be a

party today we are going to go crazy here's the idea behind this show for the last few years I have done a top 10 video at the end of the

season laying out what I think are the best players in the league. We'll talk about that criteria

really quickly before we go.

But that video Cody has has crushed me over the last few seasons and essentially what happens is I do my research.

I get to where I am right now at this moment as of recording and then I start attempting

to make the video and that takes a week or two weeks or three weeks and then I get another bit of

research as I'm making the video I'm making a graphic on one of the pieces of

data I've just researched and then it just goes crazy and so that video has become

painful and what we're going to try this year is to do it in podcast format.

Cody is going to hold my hand and help me. He's going to keep me on track. He's going to guide us through.

So that's what we are going to do today. We're going to talk about the quote-unquote 10 best players in the NBA in 2023 and because this is a very

difficult thing to do the key to understanding of what I'm trying to lay out I'm trying to communicate what's in my head about these

guys and like where do I think they're good and where are their weak points and how do those value

indicators change like why is being such a good playmaker so valuable how important is

defense or defensive versatility or something we'll talk about today massive

massive rim protection in the playoffs.
