The luxury of failure.

That's right.

I talked to the CEO of a company, a great guy, one of the, one of the deepest chief executives I work with, I really like this guy.

He said something to the other day, he said he was talking about how he's made some mistakes

in hiring, but he's learned from it and it was kind of inevitable and he said you know Pat the luxury of

failure is survival he says if you fail and make a mistake but you survive it

it's a blessing it's a way to learn and make a mistake but you survive it

it's a blessing it's a way to learn

that you probably couldn't have learned and I thought what a great

quote

the luxury of failure is survival

and and this is not just one of those sayings that you put on the wall.

It's really true that when something bad happens, a setback or a disappointment, it really

does come down to how we respond to it.

Bill Bridges, God rest his soul, who did transition management, always, he talked about this.

It's not what happens to you in life, it's how you respond to it.

And we want to talk about that from the perspective of a leader who is

dealing with setbacks and how it really does come down to how they choose to deal with it.
