Open. Most notably, we are doing a big project with partners in health Sierra Leone to strengthen the health care system. Every

facet of the health care system from community health workers to primary care centers to the coid

government hospital in the center of the Cono district to prove that it is possible even in places like

Sierra Leone with extremely fragile systems to radically reduce maternal and child mortality. Sierra

Leone has the highest maternal mortality rate in the world. One in 17 women in Sierra Leone will die in

pregnancy or childbirth. That is an emergency. It is a crisis, but because it's a crisis that's been unfolding for a long

time, we haven't been treating it like a crisis. Please join us over the next five years as we follow the story of what

can happen in a community when real lasting long-term investment is made to address the long-term systemic
