We were just talking about how a major theme of our show, if you're new to the show, is about actually following

Jesus, actually doing the stuff he told us to do. Because it's so great. Grace is wonderful,

but grace is not opposed to effort. I love that. It's opposed to earning. It's not opposed to effort.

There's this way of Jesus is so great. And I just got to tell you, though, following Jesus, if you think, well,

I got to be an expert first and then I can be an informed. Like, no, no, no, no, that's not

how this works. You decide to follow him and you learn as you go. You're his apprentice. The

disciples, think about them. They're teenage dudes mainly. Like fishing. How astute were they

on everything?

And like, no, it's just a matter of being willing to follow him.

You know what's wild is if you talk to God and a whisper,

he's so close to you, he'll hear you.

You don't have to yell, which is really amazing. And Paul actually said that.

He was talking to these Greek guys

that like to just sit around and debate all the time,

but he was saying he's not far from any one of us.

For in him, we live and move and have our being.

He's actually quoting one of their poets,

but he's saying Epimedes is right on this.

He's right for any one of us who turn toward him.

So you're driving your car or you're taking a walk.
