It's been a really tough time for so many people, but it looks like this week will hopefully

be better. There's rain and cooler weather on the forecast for my hometown and we're heading

home after spending a few weeks in Melbourne. However, I know there are a lot of people

still dealing with stressful and traumatic and overwhelming experiences and I've received messages

from many of my wonderful listeners in Australia who would like to hear more about how to cope

and manage stress. So I thought I'd take some time on this episode to explain a few

stress management tips and also what I've been doing over the last few weeks to look after myself.

I know there are people out there who are going through much, much more difficult things than me,

but I hope these tips will still be helpful. And just before I dive into it, I'd like to remind you about the various resources that are

available during difficult times.

In many countries around the world, there are help lines that you can call often for free

to chat with someone who's been trained to offer support and guidance.

For example, in Australia you can call Lifeline on 131114 for 24 hour support.

I know it can be a bit intimidating to make the call, but it can often be incredibly helpful to have a safe space to talk for a while.
