What's up guys welcome back to another episode of the Rock Your Brand podcast and today

we have some breaking news on the YouTube front just announced and we're really excited

about it because if you are considering starting a YouTube channel and you are wanting to

monetize make money from the channel in the past well it was a little bit harder and now

YouTube made it easier and we are going to discuss what that looks like what the changes

are what it means for a new creator or a small channel and yeah and how you're able to

now get into the game and we're just excited about YouTube in general because I think

right now since we've been focusing on it we have added about third a little over 37,000

subscribers in the last seven or eight nine months I forget what it was actually two

million views and we are going all in on YouTube and we've built a list without spending

money on Facebook ads which is pretty awesome so that's what we're going to be talking

about here today I am fired up Chris I know that you're fired up you've been in the weeds

a little bit looking at like all of the the verbage as far as like what YouTube actually

announced what they said what it means and how we can use this the other thing I want to

do is I want to also break down high level view of like if you're just getting started

and you want to build an audience whether it's to drive people to your Etsy shop drive people

to your website drive people to an affiliate offer any of that stuff we're going to discuss

that and we're actually doing this behind the scenes right now on our own channel but

we're also helping two other people build a channel from scratch which is going really

well and actually my son and I just decided to start a little channel on the side just to kind

of you know have a little fun and it's something we've been wanting to do and well because I'm

going all in on YouTube so I want to go into another niche and just play around over there so
