| 0:31.0 | I have a relative of mine who loves to point out how some of our relatives' lives |

| 0:41.7 | How could they do that? That's just stupid. And she loves to share her stories |
| 0:46.2 | and opinions about this. But I kept talking to her about the fact that it's good to understand |

| 0:55.8 | situation of doing something that seems, in your words, very stupid. |
| 1:01.3 | And my prediction was right. Her life hasn't turned out all that well. |
| 1:05.0 | So today I want to talk about this behavior. |
| 1:08.0 | But what is this behavior I am talking about? |
| 1:11.0 | In many ways it's very simple. A person has a problem. It's incredibly |
| 1:16.6 | evident to everyone else what they need to do and they don't do it. That's it. Just a couple months ago an associate of mind was talking |
| 1:26.6 | about a patient that she saw only one time. She came in and she had been with this man |
| 1:31.2 | for many years and six times the police had gotten involved because of |
| 1:35.0 | domestic violence and my friend told her you know if you go back you're probably |
| 1:39.6 | going to end up dead she only saw her once but a few weeks after she saw her, she had learned that, yes, she had gone back, and yes, she had died. |
| 1:48.0 | This, of course, is a very tragic situation. |
| 1:52.0 | But as we begin to think about this type of behavior, one that everyone |
