I think initially to the question of trust.

Not so much where the hell has it gone as to where would you place it today? It's become

even more difficult in the developing electoral possibility. Do you want one? Who do you think

it would suit best? Whose purposes would it serve? Do you like me have a remarkable sort of

absence of enthusiasm for the choices currently

on offer? I don't know. We'll have a look at that in a moment. I would also like to draw your attention to

the question of fussy eating, as we learn of a boy who, a 17-year-old teenager who's gone blind as a result of a dismal diet. But it is a diet that many parents of teenagers may actually

recognise with a shiver, a frisson of familiarity. And don't, don't laugh, but I am also

still intrigued by the tale of whether Airbnb is ruining town. But we begin, as we must,

with domestic politics. And I kind of wonder whether or not this will work today.

We're in an incredibly strange place. I think everyone would agree on that. You have a conservative prime minister threatening conservative MPs with the withdrawal of the whip if they dare to do to him what he did to the

last Conservative Prime Minister. You have a former Conservative Prime Minister taking the current

Conservative Prime Minister to court potentially. You have a very, very recently departed Conservative

Chancellor of the ex-JECA, essentially accusing his successors in cabinet

of lying to the British people. And I think it's a matter of fact rather than opinion

that he's right. And you can prove that by going to the most right wing of British journalists

for Daily Mail columnist Richard Littlejohn, of course, last week,

explicitly stating that they believe Boris Johnson is lying to the British people and they love it.

That's a weird development. I pointed it out to you last week. You know, the idea of a journalist applauding a politician for lying, consciously

lying, hasn't even happened in America. Trump's cheerleaders in America pretend that they believe
