her fitness journey and everything in between. So welcome Felicia. What is up? I'm so excited to be here, Jeremy. Thanks for having me. Rock on, dude. Yeah. So for these guys who don't know you really don't have a huge backstory, just maybe your story of fitness as far back as you want to go. If's you know high school college like why you got into it

how you got into it were you an athlete as a kid kind of the things like that yeah absolutely i was

an athlete like true and true my mom signed me up for little league when i was five i have always been

an athlete mike i come from a family of athletes so all my mom's brothers and sisters played football

baseball all of that um and then i played you, at a young age on the club team. So I traveled and it was, it was life. You know, I played year-round. Being here in Arizona, you can play things like softball year-round because the weather. So that kind of led me into college. And I remember being 14, 15 years old, and my mom's like, hey, we can't afford college, but you've got to go. You know, so a lot of pressure. I'm familiar. Yeah, my mom was so, I was the first born. So my mom put a ton of pressure on me. And she was like, you know, you have, like, there's no other choice after high school. You go to college, right? And I was the first to graduate in my family with a degree, but I got a scholarship to play softball at Arizona State. So that kind of opened up the doors for me. I started, you know, kind of dabbling into like healthy eating and food and strength training and all of that in my early 20s. I would say 18, 19, 20. I got my first

gym membership at 18. I remember it was a gold's gym. I had no idea what I was doing. So I would

do seated rows every day because I just like, oh, that looks easy. Okay, I can get on there.

It's an important exercise. Yeah. Right. I attribute that to, I have an amazing an amazing like structured back now because of the days

and weeks and months of just seated rows so I um so played softball okay and so that I was in college

I only played a couple years in college because I was really into my school and I was studying

law at the time um I was I have a bachelor's actually in political

science and I remember being at the gym. So softball was over. I only played for a couple years and I was

a junior at Arizona State and I saw sign at the gym for a local competition. I was already training

people at this time. So I got certified Nazim and AS, and I just, I loved it. I fell in love with

helping people. I felt like, I felt like I thrived on that, you know, and I was, gosh, 19, 20 at the time.
