I'm going to share with you concerning rebuilding your life through fasting. Now, when we mention things like open doors through fasting, you know, breaking through certain cycles of fasting,

please hear me loud and clear. We don't elevate fasting to something that fasting is not.

The power is not in fasting and I've mentioned that in my fast forward book, it's in God.

Fasting is just one of the tools, one of the means, coupled with prayer, with the Word of God,

that helps us to get breakthrough through certain limitations and strongholds.

As in this fast, the verse that I've used is that this kind does not leave except by prayer and fasting,

you know, I just want to encourage you that there are just some things that don't seem to be broken through until people fast.

In Nehemiah chapter 1 and verse 3, I want us to go into that verse right now, Nehemiah chapter 1 and verse 3.

And we're going to see what happened to him where is my

Nehemiah lower lower right here chapter 1 and verse 3 Nehemiah hears this report. He sees that the walls are broken down.

The gates are burnt with fire.

He sees also that there is a great distress of people of his.

And the scripture says, so it was when I heard these words, I sat down

and wept and mourned for many days. I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.

And then we go a little bit further.

He begins to pray to God.

We actually read his prayer.

So people who a lot of times say things like,
