Today the topic is just a few thoughts about mourning and

about comfort. Comfort is what we aim for when we want to say or do something

that will bring relief to the sufferer or encouragement to the

downcast to strengthen the weak and to bring hope and comfort to the sad and

sorrowing and comfort is what we want and need when we are mourning.

Ecclesiasties 3.1 says to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

And in verse 4 of chapter 3, a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance. There is a season for mourning. It has a season and a purpose because everything has a season and a purpose under heaven.
