We got Dr. James Doty on the show today.

He wrote a book this last year called Mind Magic, and I've read about half of it so far.

It is an incredible book that I highly recommend that you read.

You know, we've talked a lot on this show about visualization and assuming the feeling of the wish

fulfilled. And his book is about the science behind that. And so if you're into those concepts,

definitely read his book, Mind, Magic. Today, he's going to talk about compassion. If you recall

last week, we were talking about gratitude and how gratitude increases heart rate variability, which saves your life, which dramatically reduces your risk of cardiac events.

And so it's gratitude, I think joy and compassion.

Those are the emotions that are the best for your heart.

And today, Dr. Doty is going to give you more of the science behind that and what the latest research is saying about this topic.
