Why don't you give us a little bit about your origin story,

where you grew up, your family.

It all started in the very tiny state of Delaware,

which I think most people have heard of by now.

I was born in Delaware, grew up there,

and I was from the Amish community and we were kind of sequestered and I was very naive.

But at the same time, I was abused a lot as a child and I had come through a very difficult

marriage through an abusive marriage as well.

So I was used to being knocked around. Now nobody was hitting me, but you know just

emotionally battered all the time and eventually I got a divorce in 2009. So when I got a divorce, I was 52 years old and I had not dated since I was 17

because I was married for 30 years. What was dating like after being divorced at the age of 52?

It was scary. I felt out of my element and I really hadn't dated I think I dated one person before all this went down and I had

looked at the dating size that people were telling me, by this point I'd been divorced three or four years.

And people, all my friends were telling me, you know, you need to get yourself out there. You're just staying at home and you know you're

depressed and all this and you just need to do something get on with your life.
