0:51.0	2019, Eric realized that most people only test for lead after exposure has already
0:56.7	happened. Since then, he's been on a mission to change that by raising awareness and making
1:01.9	proactive lead testing more accessible through social media and public education.
1:07.6	Welcome, Eric, to the show. Thanks for having me on and giving the opportunity to talk more about lead.
1:13.3	Yeah, like I said, I have so many questions for you because it is a hot topic on social media.
1:18.7	That is for sure.
1:20.1	But before we dealt into that, just tell my listeners a little bit about yourself, your background,
1:24.8	and maybe what even sparked your interest in doing this?
1:29.5	Just taking a look at, you know, what was available career-wise. I decided that I wanted to go
1:34.6	into business with myself. And I started making consumer products. And one of the ones that I made
1:40.1	early on was a reagent test kit, which allows people to use chemicals to identify other
1:44.4	chemicals so they can be safer. And I identified there was an opportunity in the marketplace
1:49.8	where 3M was making a lot of money off of a lead testing kit, charging $5 per test. And the
1:56.9	amount of chemicals that was in there was relatively low. So they were really making a huge
