Welcome in, everyone, to this week's edition of the Deer Hunter podcast.

Friday, the 4th of June, we have officially flipped the calendar to June.

My turkey season's over.

We can talk about that at a later day.

It was relatively uneventful. Only got out a handful of times and did have some action,

did have a good encounter with a nice, mature Tom, on the two of the three occasions that I went out.

And it just didn't happen.

I didn't have the, I was not afforded the luxury of time this spring to pursue gobblers like I thought I was going to have to in the month of May, literally went by

in the snap of a finger.

But that's in the rear of view mirror now and I'm looking ahead. What we're going to do here today, it's going to be a little bit of a finger. That's in the rear view mirror now, and I'm looking ahead.

it's gonna be a little bit of a shortened version.

Like I said, it's Friday, Friday morning.

I'm getting ready to head into work right now.

So I've got about 30, 45 minutes to sit down,

record this, and what I wanted to do is discuss the upcoming weekend,
