You know there's these section things in the Bible where there's like a section title

yeah there's a thing in first Peter it's like living in a pagan society is what it says.

Okay. So living in a society where the people who are in charge are not, they don't share your belief in Jesus. He writing to people because that's where they are right and he says take your cue from Jesus

They insulted him he did not retaliate when he suffered he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to the

one who judges justly. There's this peace of mind that we can take our key from... He's forgiving people!

He's forgiving people he could have blasted them right and it says honor the people in authority and then it says

fear God this is coming out of first Peter just just how to live in this, honor the people and authority,

honor the Emperor, fear God.

Like you don't fear the Emperor,

no matter what he can do you.

Your allegiance is to God alone and that's the source of your hope you can actually be hopeful now

How to be at peace during election season. We've been talking about this with different ideas.

You really can do this.

You can capture your thoughts.

You can take your thoughts captive.

That's a scriptural idea.

And it means when you're off on some mental tangent,

I do this all the time.

And I'm nervous or making myself anxious or angry
