Welcome back to The Incomparable podcast.

In November of last year, we spent some time talking about Doctor Who on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who.

And it's a show that I love.

I love the old series when I was in high school.

And I love the new series now.

And we got a great reaction from it.

And a lot of people were talking about where you should get started if you're new to Doctor Who.

And also just we're interested in us talking more about it.

And while The Incomparable is not a Doctor Who podcast, we do talk about it.

We've done our flashcast about the new series as the episodes have aired.

And in the interim, because the new series isn't coming back for another month and a half or so as we record this, I thought it would be a good time to talk about Dr. Who a little more.

So we're going to talk about where to get started with Doctor Who.

And we're also going to talk about the Russell T. Davis era,

which is the 2005 to 2010,

but only if you count New Year's Day of 2010 era of the show.

So roughly, we'll say five years, the first five years of the

relaunch of the series. Joining me are actually, I believe, our same panel of Doctor Who experts

slash fans slash people that we had in November for the 50th anniversary episode.
