0:00.0	Hi, this is Steve. Over four years ago, when John and I started the cinephiles, we had a few simple rules.
0:07.0	The most important of which is that we would only explore movies which have stood the test of time.
0:13.0	Eventually that vague principle became our 10-year rule and we've stuck to it ever since.
0:18.0	But on August 28th of this year, something happened which made us realize that every once in a while, even the most
0:25.1	important rules, deserve to be broken.
0:28.3	Chadwick Bozeman was more than just an actor, more than just another guy in front of a blue screen pretending to be a superhero.
0:35.8	From Jackie Robinson and James Brown to Thurgood Marshall, and of course the King of Wakanda,
0:41.2	Chadwick Bozeman showed not only tremendous range as an actor, but also
0:45.8	tremendous power, dignity, intelligence, and character.
0:50.6	And when we discovered that he had done all of this while privately battling colon cancer, we must add personal courage, discipline, self-sacrifice, and a belief in things more important than himself.
1:04.0	So, when a bunch of you on social media suggested we break our tenure rule to honor this incredible person,
1:10.0	we instantly knew it was the right thing to do.
1:14.3	But exploring Black Panther eight years early just didn't feel like enough.
1:18.2	We wanted to do more.
1:20.2	You see, while Chadwick Bozeman was secretly fighting his own battle with cancer, he was also working tirelessly with children suffering from the same disease.
