0:43.7

Hi.

0:44.6

I mean that. I've been listening to the feeling all week, and you've been taking me back to being a bit younger.

0:51.9

Solid 2006 experience. Yeah. I mean, I was 20. Oh, okay. I was 20. I was probably living in London, driving in Nissan Micro. Yeah. Feeling very cool. And I remember having your album. I remember having the CD. You had the CD in the car. Did you have a CD player in the car? I did, but it was actually a tape and a CD player and you put the tape in

1:12.9

and then you had one of, you had like a Walkman CD player. Right, yeah. And then I had to lay it.

1:17.5

That's right. To not. No, those things, that anti-jog nonsense was a lie. Oh, that's the rabbit.

1:23.3

It's absolute ball. Absolutely ball. How are you? I'm great. Thank you. Talking of the feeling you're about to do your 20th anniversary tour. Yes, the 20th anniversary. I mean, that, how has it been that long? I don't know. Do you know what? Some days it's like, bloody hell that's yesterday. And then some days it's like, oh, I live another life now. You know, it feels like another era. Yeah. Because it was kind of, you know, it was before the modern day. You know, the way the music industry worked, the way everything worked back then, we sold CDs. You know, we sold physical things to people in HMV and go and the album. Yeah, would you go to HMV and do signings and things?

2:01.1

Yeah, all of that kind of stuff. And I think about the way music works now, and I don't even understand it. Like, I don't get how anyone makes any money or does anything in the business now. I just... Yeah, right? Or like they tour, right? That's how they make... Yeah, but even then, that's getting virtually impossible to do. The touring was never a big earner for most people.

2:20.4

Right, okay.

2:21.1

It's all right, but, you know, it's not like anyone comes away from touring, having made an absolute fortune, unless they're Taylor Swift. And everyone else is kind of like, kind of doing all right. It's odd because I think, well, is that really a living now, you know, except what happens is, I suppose that you do the thing that we never wanted to do,

2:36.3

which was you do the big corporate kind of, you have some kind of a underwear line or, you've got to sell something else on the side.

2:45.1

You become almost a brand alongside being banned.

2:47.0

You have to make yourself brand level famous.

2:49.4

And then you can make some money because then you're going going selling other people's stuff. And so that's essentially what you do.
