Is Mackay Lemon overrated? A slot receiver? A slot only receiver? Is this somebody that we can take in early round one?

Can we really take a slot receiver over those players? I think the answer to both questions comes down to where you see the modern NFL evolving.

It's a really interesting topic to think about.

We've dug into it a little bit here beyond the box score.

So we saw like more tight ends used last year than ever before. The Rams are actually

a team that are linked to Mackay-Limon, which I think makes sense because he's a dog,

he's a fantastic blocker. He seems like the type of player that Sean McBay would like. But we saw

the Rams use three tight-ins at a historic rate last year. So do they need a slot receiver?

Does that even fit into their plans?

I actually think conversely that if you look at like the receivers who are producing the most

for fantasy right now, most of them are players who work inside out.

Um, obviously Jackson Smith and Jigba has a background as a

slot receiver, Puka Nukuwa still spends a ton of time in the slot. Amonra St. Brown, I mean,

those are the three top scores for fantasy football last year and obviously are very impactful
