I'm Don B from GanggreenNation.com, and on today's show, we're going to discuss day three prospects in the NFL draft who should interest the Jets. I have three for you.

One is a running back who has elite film on his college resume. It's just all the elite

film came early in his career. There is a linebacker prospect who's likely to go on day three,

who has everything you look for except size. And a wide receiver who brings a lot of intriguing

tools to the table,

the level of competition in college is the question mark. Now, over the last 15 years,

the Jets have not made the playoffs. And there are lots of reasons for that. The roster building has

been poor. The front office and coaching staff have made numerous mistakes. Sometimes they make

the same mistake over and over.

It's complex. There's no one reason the Jets have struggled so much over the last decade and a half.

There are some reasons that have received a lot of attention. I think one of the underrated reasons

is how poor the Jets have been drafting day three. Now, I understand most of the great players go day one in the NFL draft.

And then day two, which are the second and third rounds, that's when a lot of the good

teams separate themselves.

And you get to day three, you get to rounds four through seven.

Most of the players don't pan out.
