Welcome to Lose the Sticks, DJ, and Buck.

0:13.6

How are you doing, my friend?

0:15.4

Man, I'm good.

0:16.0

DJ, we're coming down to stretch.

0:17.3

We're putting the finishing touches on these lists and boards and rankings.

0:21.2

I think I got an email that I have to submit my last top five next week, which is probably

0:27.2

about right. I think I have mock draft that Monday afterwards. I know you're working on the big

0:30.9

mock draft to finish. But yeah, man, like you can see the light at the end of the tongue.

0:36.7

Yeah, the light is there, man. I've got the,

0:38.5

the 150 I got to put together. It's one of the exercises for me when you're going through that

0:43.6

is kind of seeing where you're a little bit light because I've got the information of how many

0:48.9

players traditionally go over the last five years, for example, in the top 50, in the top

0:53.4

100, the top 150, you know,

0:55.4

all that stuff. And then you just start looking at the draft and it, you start going like, some positions, I'm like, I'm going to have a hard time whittling this down into that number. And other positions, I'm like, well, man, I'm trying to like, the running backs, I'm sitting here going like, okay, I'm looking at these averages going, I don't think I'm going to get to that number.

1:13.6

So who's going to have to come from some other position in this draft but it is kind of interesting once you start getting into the deeper part of it and trying to figure out not only how you like these guys but traditionally where these guys end up falling and that's really a good study right it's one of that we used to talk about, like, what really plays in this league? And it's almost like what really gets drafted? We can theorize and talk about the players that we like in those things. But on average, there are a number of DVs. There's a number of running backs. There are a number of linemen. They get drafted. And whether they get picked, what is the sweet spot for them getting picked and how we know?

1:45.5

We, for years, talked about them getting picked and how we know.

2:01.1

We, for years, talked about DBs and wide receivers second and third round. They're going to be populated with those guys. Offensive linemen are going to come early. There's going to be a run. And once their run goes early, you better get on board because they're not going to be available later in the thing. And so it's, you know, like,

2:06.6

trusting your process, but also trusting what the historical trends tell you, because then it puts you more in line to be correct when we get through draft weekend. Yeah, no, I think it's,
