J.T. Mathis, a year ago, we had Eli Tomak coming back from injury.

We had Hunter Lawrence coming back from injury, Jet Lawrence coming back from injury.

Jorge Prado essentially making his full-time debut in the U.S. because he had been hurt and Supercross.

And we thought, J-T, we would never be able to top the anticipation for Round 1, 25. I think we've already done it for

26. Yeah, it's like 2025 on steroids. True. It's very similar, but better because we have,

most notably, we have a better horre prodo we all expect

if he's not better than 2025 i don't even know what to say uh shut your laptops now close your

computers yes yeah like pradopod will be off the chart so let's just go there uh and then of course

you have the addition of hayden degan so it's all that we had last year. We have all the protagonists back healthy for, at least for the opening round. And then we have Hayden Deegan joining the fight. And not only that, Steve, okay, last year there was, I guess, some question with Jet Lawrence. That was a short turnaround. around. Maybe at the time we doubted it, or maybe I have hindsight knowing he went one-one. It was like, ah, the ACL, they've got that dialed. Is it fair to say, I think this year there's more question marks on Jet than last year, or am I misremembering that? No, I think there's more. This is a more serious injury than he's had before, right? And he went into details on the TV program about it. It sounds pretty serious. There's a lot of racers that have done this over the years, the tailus. And it's not easy to get back from. Now, people that have seen him ride say, don't worry about it. He's as good as ever coming in as a defending champion. But I definitely have some questions, man, about it.

It's a serious injury. So, yes, I do. I think Jet will be really good, sure, but will he be, you know, beating everyone else good like he normally does it, Paula?

I'm not sure. I was way more confident last year, to be honest.

Yeah, so we'll detail that. He got hurt in December. Some people say this injury is a 12-month injury to get your normal range of motion back. Now that doesn't mean you can't ride well, but this is gnarly. He detailed in that video, Steve. It's on the NBC Motorsports YouTube channel, 11 screws and four pins in his tailus. And it's not an ankle, everybody. It's not a broken foot.

It's specifically a bone that's very hard to heal.

We've heard this through the months, J.T. Is there some worry? We've already seen him be

Superman coming back a few times, but is there a little bit of, uh, eh? I'm not worried about

him coming back. Yes, this injury has been more problematic than the others, of course. I'm really only, I guess my question would just be how effective is he early? Can he win the opening round? He's never lost Apollo. Questions like that I have. Is Jet Lawrence still going to be Jet Lawrence for the long term because of this injury?

That is not a question that I'm really asking.
