to start the show dude you know this is not my first rodeo i've been doing this this is my 22nd

year doing this well it's only our fourth year of the pre-show, but we had some bumps yesterday. Can I tell you something that happened yesterday? I fixed a mistake that was made on Saturday, Shannon. We had a Mark Stoops commercial play during the broadcast the other day. So we got all those out of the system, I think. Yeah. You can't have stoop's playing now, man. I mean, that's just,

do we still owe them like royalties or something? I don't know. Is that part of the payout, the buyout?

I don't know, but it was definitely like nails on a chalkboard.

You know, could hear it, identify it as soon as I heard it.

But I think we finally got that all out of the system, Shannon,

so we can avoid that for this broadcast tonight because it's it's game day. It is. Yeah, it's also, by the way, National take down your Christmas tree day. Have you taken down your Christmas tree yet? I did. Yeah. You did. Okay. We had a fake plastic one that been holding on for the last few years. We actually just threw it away, so we're going to be buying a new one next year but are you a real tree guy no absolutely i'm not you

think i'm going to go out and dig up a tree have to water it and make sure like it's you know

cleaned up and stuff and there's not to get needles and go to the woods i mean there are stores

or places that can sell it to you, but...

I'm still not doing that. No. But it is like sticky and the pine needles.

We did that one year when I was a kid, and it was like the last year we ever did it, because the needles were like everywhere all over the floor. Oh, they're everywhere. Like, their parents are like, my parents are like, nope, not doing that anymore. I'm also not taking down the tree.

I'm holding strong, at least till this weekend.

I feel like you get two weekends after Christmas before you have to take the Christmas tree down. After that, you have company over. They start to give you the side eye a little bit. Like, hey, man, what's going on? Are you okay? Like, it's now the end of January. You still have your Christmas tree up. but I need to know from the listeners out there like when do you think is like the

death of the January, you still have your Christmas tree up. But I need to know, like, from the listeners out there, like, when do you think is, like, the deadline for taking down your Christmas tree? I think you get until this weekend. I think this weekend, if you don't have it down, people are going to start judging you a little bit. But, you know, if you've got it up right now, I think it's still good. I think we're still good. I think this is an acceptable time to take it down. I kind of aim for like New Year's and like those are that weird week between Christmas and New Year's where you don't know what to do with yourself. That's kind of when I take care of some chores around the house and get that done. But you're kind of the exception to the rule, Shannon, with your, you know, 24-7, 365 lights on your house all the time. But they went Christmas lights for December. They're already back to normal. Like, I changed those back. That's easy. You just hit a button on an app and it goes back to the way it was, just regular, like, ambient lighting, right? But then... You're in Mount Washington, you're like, somebody still has their Christmas lights up?

Yeah, you can't be doing that.
