Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

One of my favorite things about this time of year is looking back at the ridiculousness

that we've seen throughout the year.

And we just have to embrace the

absurdity because we are living in, these times are so magnified and so bananas that I think

that we'll have a very difficult time explaining to future generations.

How intermingled every aspect of life from social media to pop culture to politics, how it was all together in one giant casserole.

And it was all of the insanity magnified itself and you know every person looking from

the outside in had times of absolute outrage and sometimes you don't have to get mad at the

absurdity you can just laugh at it, poke fun at it, always poke fun at yourself, and document what you've seen to try and make sense of it in the future, which I think will be an impossibility.

Do you remember when Katie Perry and Gail King and Lauren Sanchez and the other women went into space

and it was the stupidest, dumbest, most inconsequential show of fake feminism ever? And Katie Perry

released like her track list and a flower and kiss the ground when she landed as though, you know,

she were some brave astronaut warrior who had conquered the heavens and come back like against

all odds, like some Arctic ship where 90% of the sailors on board got scurvy and were eaten by polar bears.

It was not really a show of bravery.

And I think this was the year that that phony baloney strain of feminism took the biggest hit.

And so we looked at this because it was shoved on our throat.

Like girl power, aren't they amazing?

And it's like, no, literally anyone could do that.

Like Stephen Hawking did that.

Anyone, there was nothing remarkable about that at all.
