We're going to talk to start us off. We've got a few topics today, but we're going to talk about the Open, a bit of a late overview of the Open because we've all been busy and not really got together on the pod to talk about it. Greg's not here, unfortunately, he's playing, but me and Lou will have a quick recap of this year's Open Championship at Royal Port Rush. Lou, how was it for you? It was fun. this year, yeah?

I do enjoy waking up early.

What time does it finish then for you, like midday?

Yeah, it was finished by... That three in the afternoon, I guess. Well, it was finished by like one, so they teed off at 9th. It was finished by, you know, 1.45, 2pm local time. Yeah. Which is great because afterwards I went to the golf course. Fantastic. Like a kid, ready to play. And I woke up early. I love it. How early? Like are you getting up at five or something? How old? It was pretty early on the final day. And, you know, I, you know, leaders didn't tee off till 930, but I was watching well, well in advance of that. I make a nice breakfast, make some nice coffee, just kind of... Oh, it's an open morning. Sit down and just snuggle up and... Oh, let it wave over you. Do you get our commentators, or are you getting your commentators? How does that work for you? You're getting your team, I guess. We are. We're getting the United States commentators, although we did

have this year, I mean, he still works mostly in the US. Paul McGinley was on the broadcast for a while.

Lucky you. Yeah, lucky us. It was fantastic. But yes, it was good. I really enjoy that part of it.

Okay. First thoughts about what you saw of the course. How did it look? Okay.

Yeah. No?

It's okay. I mean, I know people are going to go, I can't believe that. I'm definitely of the opinion that, you know, all you have to do,

was it scenic? Yeah, definitely in parts, it's really scenic and, you know, really nice looking.

I'm not a massive fan of courses on the water. I don't, like a coarse ocean side doesn't really do

much for me. Like, looking out over the ocean is just a big expanse of nothing. I'd rather look, I'd rather look at a mountain. I'd rather a golf course be at the base of a mountain and look at mountain ranges. So you'd like Royal County Down looks at a mountain. I mean, I've never been there, but it's by the sea as well.
