Washington headlines of the day. Number one, the closed to the 2024 election cycle.

Number two, Tom Em are on the stump. And number three, Dems confront possible ticket splitting.

All right, Jake, let's get into it. We are finally, and it does mean, I do mean finally.

And at the end of the 2024 election cycle, tomorrow is election day. And it has

certainly been one of the most bizarre of our lifetime. But it's important. And I think what we do this

morning is really reflect on those six months, because sometimes you feel like you're kind of in

this time continuum where there's scandal or drama every single day. It's easy to get kind of caught up in it. But when you think

about it, I mean, just in May, it was foreign president Donald Trump versus Joe Biden leading

the polls. President, I mean, I mean, it's kind of crazy when you think about that and how the decision of the first debate really upended the entire presidential cycle.

Yeah, listen, we are now what?

I mean, polls, you know, election day is a little bit of a misnomer these days because people have been voting now for, you know, a month or whatever.

I know in Georgia, I think we're seeing incredible turnout, early vote turnout, we meaning the country, not one party or another, but just a remarkable early vote turnout

across Georgia and across many states. So election day is a little bit kind of the encore, if you

will, of the election season. Yeah, it's been a wild election. And I want to talk about

the last couple days for a quick second. You put in good context the entire arc of this election.
