Hello, episode five. Season five's theme is of course our 2023 year and review and this episode is our best meals of

2023.

Two. If you guys have been listening, a few little notes to give you.

Some behind the scenes look.

One, that is our son with his first intro on our podcast, hopefully not last. He is home why we were recording because he we got home from our trip over the holidays and he had COVID, so even though he is feeling much better now he can't go to school.

So he is in the background, dancing around, playing video games and occasionally popping in to make himself known. Also, this is a second time we are recording our

Best Meals podcast because 20 exactly 24 hours ago, Heather. Yes, Trav. I realized that we had talked into microphones for an hour and a half,

had done an incredible job going through our best meals, but I can't say that we recorded it

because there was no SD card in the recorder and so it is gone forever

But we're re-recording and we have vowed that we will make this one even better and in those 24 hours two things have happened that are good.

One, I remembered a few meals that I had already

forgotten. You are struggling the first time around with your meals. Yeah you

guys will never hear it but I was struggling. I just I have looked at our spreadsheet of where we were each day and

For a solid two three hours trying to come up with meals and just was struggling with ideas for whatever reason and because he doesn't

take pictures of his meals I said you have to become that person that takes

pictures of your food because you know not to post everything on

Instagram but for the pod so you can remember because if it's

something good I try to almost always take a picture and if I'm really thinking I

try to get a picture with the name of the restaurant or

location somehow in it because then it just makes it easier. I just have to be

prepared and a little known fact about me I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts and their motto was be prepared.
