previews. First thought on New England was that it couldn't

be worse than it was a season ago, specifically on the offense. I don't know still what the

circumstances were last offseason that led to a combination of Joe Judge and Matt Patricia,

a special teams coach and a defensive coach being co-offensive coordinators,

but it ended as it was expected to be. It couldn't have been worse for the Patriots overall.

And this year with Bill O'Brien coming back, it's only going to get better. And what's interesting

about Bill O'Brien, I think Sam Munson over at PFF said it best, where there's two Bill O'Brien's that people think about.

There was Bill O'Brien as the play caller and the coordinator, and then there was Bill O'Brien

as the personnel guy and the head coach that I think most people have in their mind from his
