Good morning everybody, today is Thursday June 22nd and I want to remind everybody that

tomorrow will be released number two of the NFL season through the service.

Today's episode of First Thoughts, we will look at the Las Vegas Raiders.

This to me seems like it could be very problematic for a number of different reasons.

Let's start with Josh McDaniels.

Something is not working between McDaniels and the Raiders ownership and the Raiders roster.

We have to go back just a little bit to last season to put this timeline together and

illustrate why his second tenure as a head coach could end in a failure before the season

is done.

He effectively drove Derek Carr off of the team in order to get Jarrett Stidham, a guy who

he worked with in New England when he went back and worked under Bella check to starting

roll.

If you remember back to last season, three games to go, Carr gets benched, Stidham gets

given the starting job, Stidham performs extremely well in a way McDaniels kind of saved

his job hitching himself to Stidham showing that that was sort of the plan forward.
