That's right. You can look at the calendar. I swear it's June 5th, and you're listening to the Simple Handicap on Apple or Spotify. This has never happened before. So if you're surprised, I'm surprised too. And if you've watched any of YouTube videos, the eyebrows are always in surprise mode. When you're listening on the podcast, they're still in surprise mode as well. It's football time. It's June 5th.

What in the world are we doing here talking about the NFL on June 5th?

Well, let's get everybody up to speed.

The idea behind the next sort of three and a half weeks comes from really a place of boredom.

The wife is away for the better part of the next 28 days.

She's doing a yoga training over in Asia. That means I am at home by myself, working all day,

get off work. I go putt, and I come back. Sort of sitting around, not a whole lot to do.

Sure enough, where does my mind go? Well, it's on NFL all day,

so naturally I get to the end of the day, kind of get a little antsy. There's no one to watch TV with on the couch downstairs. There's no one telling me to take the dogs out. There's nothing going on. So I got time to record a podcast. Now, with 16 different coordinators, a ton of moving pieces, a ton of players in new spots. There's kind of a lot to get your head around when it comes to this NFL season. So, naturally, we're going to do a first look of all 32 teams. This will not be an in-depth preview. This will just be initial thoughts that kind of gets you ready for those team previews to come in the middle part of July, as they always do and have for the last six seasons. So you'll get, again, five to six minutes, just my thoughts at a very high level about teams, something for you to sort of think about through the month of June. Maybe you start listing the other preview shows, reading other preview books, whatever it might be. You'll get some thoughts to sort of pair with all that other work. And when we come back with the full previews in the middle of July, well, we'll be ready. And you'll be ready to go as well. To catch everyone up with

what is going on on the work side, you've probably seen a fair bit of promotion. And while it's

doing it for the brand, and you got to do it when you're doing it. And I'm trying to get everybody

to the right spot. So if you have not heard it yet, you're doing it, and I'm trying to get everybody to the right spot.

So if you have not heard it yet, you're probably not looking too hard at Twitter, but everything that I will be doing from a work perspective.

So basically what you saw in Telegram will be going to the guys at Red Angle Sports.

That's who I'm working for, and that's hopefully who I'm working

for in the indefinite future as well, but certainly for this season, all of the NFL work is

going to go there. Red Angle Sports, of course, is a very long and storied successful betting

service, so it's not going to be just me contributing to the NFL. That will be a part of it.
