Good morning, everybody. Today is Tuesday, June 13th, and we are just two more days away from the first release of the NFL season Thursday morning.

The first NFL bet of 2023 will go out promotional pricing for the season long subscription lasts until that first bet goes out.

So if you want to take advantage of the subscription, just a couple more days to do so you've got to do it.

The fourth Thursday morning, you'll get the first bet, you'll get the promotional pricing, you will reduce the cost per pick over the 2023 season and get all of the bets that are made from Thursday until the Super Bowl in February.

Continuing on with first thoughts previews here on the podcast channel today looking at the Denver Broncos.

What if this is a big what if but it's actually kind of a funny and comical what if but what if all of these calls for letting Russ cook while he was in Seattle.

We're actually wrong and the one person that was right in all of this year after year after year and never once wavered was actually Pete Carroll.

What if Pete Carroll's restriction of Russell Wilson and the way that he chose to use him within games throughout his career in Seattle was actually the most optimal way to use Russell Wilson.

And I'm not disregarding that there are people out there who say the passing is more efficient and rush of course it is that's not what this debate is about but it is about Russell Wilson now in his mid 30s going into year two at the Denver Broncos and looking at what he did last season.

I think it's obvious at this point that he was given far too much rain over the offense from the first day that he did his press conference with the Broncos through the entire off season.

They featured insufferable commercials his own personal coach with him throughout the team facilities having his own office.

There were a number of things in the preseason that anybody can point at and criticize Russell Wilson for and that was really on the fan you'll hack it and how he handled his job as the head coach of the Denver Broncos going into the season.

You had a very difficult offense to learn that's something that hack it struggled with Aaron Rogers and green Bay.

It's a very tough offense for anybody to pick up. There was the installation issues.

There were all of the quirky end game scenarios in the first few weeks of the season. It was a disaster.

And it was coupled by Russell Wilson being the kind of corny guy he is on the sideline with the fake or embellished motivational pushes that everybody pointed out and criticized.

It was a disaster. Everything about last year was a complete mess.

This year we're actually hearing very little Sean Peyton took over in the middle part of February as the head coach and he has gone out of his way to keep things very, very tight and very, very quiet.

What we do know is there are changes coming that are kind of difficult to argue won't help out Russell Wilson and potentially maximize this offense.

First and foremost on the opening press conference Peyton said no more of this personal coach stuff we have our personnel in the facilities and that is it.
