some NBA draft where Lakers have their highest pick in a draft since 2017, the 17th pick. And today's

guest, I remember one of the first times I was like, damn, this guy really

knows his stuff about the draft was in the 2005 draft and it revolved around the 17th pick.

He was a big Danny Granger fan out of New Mexico. This was the year we had the 10th pick. We ended up

getting Bynum. It was a good pick. But Granger became a future all-star out of New Mexico.

And over many, many years,

almost two decades now, has just nailed a whole bunch of future draft guys, including

Austin Reeves a couple of years ago, miraculously. We are very honored to have back on the great

Mike Garcia. You remember that draft, Mike, back in 2005? I remember that draft so clearly. I still remember my top three list. And one of the number two guy friend Vasquez stayed overseas. Right. And I mean, never came over. That's right. Yeah, that's right. And you knew I was a Danny Granger fan. I was like, the numbers are so good. How do you not pick this guy? And then he fell and became an eventual all-star.

That's right. So, I mean, that's why we like the draft. That's right. It's fun stuff.

How do you feel about this draft, Mike? Where does the 17th pick in this draft relate to kind of a
