Welcome to Rates and barrels. It is Monday, February 14th. That means it is Valentine's Day.

And to celebrate Valentine's Day, we are going to talk about a group of players that we love more than any other group of players.

I'm not even sure that's entirely true.

But it's Pitcher Week.

Day one of Pitcher Week, day one of question marks.

We don't know how many episodes this will morph into, but my guess is probably about

three.

If we do more than that, fantastic.

We'll see.

The focus of this episode will be pitchers going within the top 100 overall.

Time permitting, we'll open it up and get down closer to the 150 range.

But again, I'm going to air on the side of assuming it's going to take more time rather than less time.

And since it is Valentine's Day, and if you're hearing this late afternoon, early evening East Coast time,

and you forgot it was Valentine's Day, hopefully this is a reminder to save yourself if you were in some sort of jeopardy as a result of forgetting what day it was.

And as Valentine's to you, the listener, you get an underturned amount of time talking about pictures.

It's our Valentine's Day present to you. It's very kind, right,

to do the podcast we were going to do anyway, but to make it a little bit longer to just be

more self-indulgent than usual with our whole process. But we'll begin up top. We're looking

at pitchers to start in the top 30 overall based on ADP in the NFBC.

So we're looking for the guys that are basically first and second round pitchers in a 15 team league right now.

It's an interesting group because it's a lot of familiar names, but a couple of new faces up there after what we saw in
