But the Golden State Warriors again outplayed the Celtics, they do it on the back of their

defense that as much as the brilliance of Steph Curry has been the key ingredient in their

and postseason of making a three-pointer first playoff game he didn't make a three-pointer

in his career. Golden State largely controlled this one outside of the third quarter and wins

by double digit. I'm happy you brought up the Warriors defense because I think that both the

combination of their defense and some mistakes that Boston made don't worry, we will talk about

done huge things in the series overall and we wondered what would happen if he had an off-knit.

And Curry contributes to the team's offensive success even when he's not hitting three pointers

really well and I think the place I want to start with that, I mean there are two different kind

of bigger threads there that for the Warriors defense I think are important. One of them is forcing

turnovers and not necessarily in this one the turnover margin though that was important and we

will get there. Instead it was forcing 18 turnovers, nine of which were live ball and the Warriors

scored 22 points. They had a 22 to 9 advantage on points to off-turnovers. Yeah those huge even

though the Warriors didn't have their best transition scoring game in this one and a fair number

of the turnovers that even were dead ball were forced like a Tatum travel, smarts offensive foul
