At 29 overall, people were scratching their heads and saying, well, they traded back from 21 and they went and got Cole Strange I hope this guy's awesome I hope he defies all the expectations

of this being a peculiar pick and that he goes on and has a great NFL career but I do want to

explain one thing can we toss to the week one react or the night one reaction from the Los Angeles boozy draft house?

the Col Strange pick at 29.

How about that? And we wasted our time watching him thinking he'd be at 104 maybe.

You watch that and you're like, that was kind of messed up.

No, obviously McVeigh was quick to get ahead of this thing and say, no, no, no.

That was towards less speed and that we wasted our time looking at this guy at 104, because we were like he might slip to us at 104. Yeah, because they're sitting pretty there in the first round. They could actually take in him. They were like, that would have been a great pick at 104. Obviously, they actually were very high at him. I can tell you that Sean reached out to Strange the next morning and spoke to him directly and was like, dude, I wasn't insulting you in Coltrane's like, Coach McVeigh.

Who to meet you? And then he also reached out to Belichick and Belichick was like, I'm not concerned with your thoughts on this.

Cole Strange will be fine and he'll play for them right away interior offensive line. But the real miss on this one, I kind of say. The Patriots have lost their fastball.
