More involvement than ever before might equate into more interest in our elite athletes than ever before.

But can you actually name the biggest stars of Irish athletics right now?

Well, today on Irishman running abroad, former World Champion Olympic silver medalist, my coach, and yours,

one, Sonia, I think the answer is all of them. We really need to get behind and support our athletes,

right? Oh, well, you always do, yeah. But I suppose the thing is there's so much going on this year

that people will have so much to follow and support.

But I think the athletes are going to have to make some smart decisions this year as well.

Because there's the world championships they're on in Eugene, Oregon in July

and the European championships

are on in Munich, in August.

And I think there could be a little bit of FOMO going on here

and athletes would fear of missing out of going to Eugene.
