With relief, laughter, and some tears we look back at the year that was 2021. We reflect on what was good, what was hard, and what we learned. Plus we hear the messages that we left ourselves at the beginning of the year. We are so thankful that you chose to spend some of your year with us. Wishing you peace and light as you end the year and start a new one, friends! We'll see you in 2022.

You're listening to The Girl Next Door Podcast. I'm Erica and I'm Kelsey. We're two former

0:08.2

next door neighbors and good friends who love a good chat and a good laugh. We're inviting

0:12.7

you to come on in, have a drink, and stay a while. Hey friend. Hey friend. I cannot believe it,

1:09.4

like the projector and the screen and everything,

1:11.4

and we'd done it before.

1:12.4

But it just seems like it wasn't as great or as enjoyable.

1:16.0

And we've already done this several times, whereas before, I don't know, it felt like

1:19.7

a bigger production.

1:20.7

Somehow it feels easier now.

1:22.5

And also, now that the boys are a little bit older, they can actually stay awake long enough. Like,

1:28.5

it's okay for them to occasionally stay up past bedtime, where it felt before. It feels worth it now.
