COVID update number 10, subtitled, are you as tired of this shit as I am sure you are?

On a serious note before we get started.

If you think you're hearing me sober up a little bit for these updates, if you think I'm trying and swinging as hard as I can, I am. I've actually gotten to a point where I do a lot of research. I take notes. Not really a note taker. Not for anybody else's benefit, at least. Work out, have a power smoothie, all the good stuff before I sit down and hit the record button these days because

surprising me more than anyone else this has become deeply important to me and

watching the disarray and the dismay in people that I love and cherish

watching the strain of trying to figure out what's going on and not really being able to penetrate

planet America. Well, in this period, I have to say on a personal level, I'm sleeping

great. I'm eating great. I drink so much, too much sometimes. But honest to goodness,

it feels horrible to brag. Sometimes. Sometimes it feels great,

because it feels like we're all beating death, even though we're not suffering equally at all,

even though I have quite the privileged stockpile that lots of people don't have and resources that lots of people don't

have. In another way, for all of you, at least, who care so much about the man behind the

mask, as it were, I just want to say thank you so much for all the encouragement. Thank you

for telling me that you're seeing it, that you're seeing me get less rambly in these,

that you're seeing me focus more, that you like what I'm citing.

As this lets me get to sleep at night and wake up the next day and pet the cat and, you know,

get the green tea and the water and the lemon juice going and all the good stuff.

That's good for me.

I got to keep it up.

I am planning a vacation.

First time away sometime in June.

It's just a couple of days.
