Hello and welcome to Best Laid Plans. This is your host, Sarah Hart Unger, and I am excited to bring you all things planning and planning related today at the start of season two and a new year. Yay!

0:23.4

So I impulsively decided that instead of making this episode number 24, which is what it is,

0:28.3

we would start a whole new season to go along with the new year, as well as, of course, a new quintile.

0:34.4

I've discussed my quintiles before. As you guys know, I enjoy dividing my year into

0:39.8

five parts instead of four. Quintile number one goes from January 1st because we have to have

0:46.0

one that starts then and ends with my kids spring break. Interestingly, my kids have two

0:51.8

different spring breaks this year. So I'm not sure how that's going to play into my system, but perhaps I'll just use the end of the second one as a logical ending there.

1:00.4

Anyway, I'm so excited to be here. I am recording it at the end of 2020, so I'll admit that I can't tell you how this new year has come upon us yet. That's going to surprise me as much as it surprises

1:11.5

you. And we have had a little bit of a tumultuous ending to our 2020. In very 2020 style, we are

1:18.2

quarantining right now due to an exposure. So hopefully all will end well. By the time this episode

1:24.0

airs, it will all be a memory. But I thought I would take today to just discuss

1:29.0

what systems I plan on using in the new year. Many of them are similar to systems I have used,

1:35.4

but I have made some small changes. And, you know, as always, I have products that I love and

1:41.1

plan on going back to, as well as a couple that I used to use but have decided I'm

1:45.4

not going to use anymore. So I'm going to talk about both the physical and digital products

1:49.9

and systems that are going to be sort of my everyday uses for the new year. And I'm excited to

1:57.1

bring you some more exciting guests and Q&As this year as well. So please, if you would

2:03.6

like more Q&A's addressed, just send them to me on email or on Instagram. If you have a product

2:09.2

that seems like it really needs to be reviewed, let me know. And if you have a guest to suggest,

2:13.7

I'd love to hear it as we bring you some fun content for this new year. All right.

2:19.4

Current system. First of all is the basics. Of course, my planner. My paper planner, I'm using

2:25.2

the Wonderland 222, A5 planner and notebook. I've gone into depth in this system before, including an
