It appears that since the late 1980s,

gangs have been terrorizing the people of the Southland

who live within the jurisdiction of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

But the problem for the people of the community is that not all the gangs are your typical street gangs where you can report them to the police. That's because some of the

gangs are the police and it's really hard to tell them apart. Here to blow our

minds about the LA Sheriff's Department and gangbanging in general.
