My name is Jeff Bluff, and I'm with my co-worker, Jordan Bianchi.

We are writers at The Athletic.

And today is our last of the four season recap sort of podcast that we've been doing since the season ended.

I believe this is the fourth week weekend already, Jordan, since the season

ended? That's kind of bizarre, right? Yeah, it's been a month now. I mean, the season ended with

the first weekend in November, and here we are in December. So yeah, it's crazy. It feels like

forever ago that the season ended, and also it just feels like it was last week week i know it's so so strange uh this has just been the weirdest feeling off season and you know

we were even i think talking about it via tex this week about how um you know also you know not only did

the season end early you know with with the whole Thanksgiving part of it,

but we never sort of had like that traditional debrief with the drivers that you get at the banquet

where, um, you know, like typically at the start of champions week, all 16 playoff drivers are

available. And so, um, you know, you've, you've talked to the champion in the final four,

obviously through that whole playoff run, but to get all the key players back again and so, you know, you've talked to the champion in the final four, obviously through that

this year, the season just ended, you know, and that was it.

And you had NBC did their little TV thing for the awards, but we never really had sort of like that.

All right, let's let's, you know, have this sort of exit interview.

And I don't know, it's just sort of weird that way.

It's just, it's just, this whole year obviously has felt different, but this was just another

example.
