And before we get out of the topic, Cody, I want to just say this, as everybody knows who

listens to this podcast, our podcasts range from extremely practical topics to more theoretical or liberal arts subject matter. We like to mix it up

as long as it's interesting and useful. Well today it's going to be one of the more

theoretical episodes but we think it might be as important as any

topic we've ever explored. But it's kind of difficult because we want to make sure

that we communicate this topic clearly and not in a trite or shallow way.

We tried to record this yesterday and decided we needed to re-record it because it did kind of seem overly

simplistic and at last night I was going to bed and I was like, I just don't think that made sense.

And this topic is anything but simplistic.

It's really, really critical, I think.

It may very well be the deepest most fundamental discussion we've ever had on at the table

about work because it gets at the very reason why people join companies and go to work.
