I am at Mission Coffee Roosters in Colorado Springs and today we are going to do a deep dive

on a very important topic which is trauma and how trauma impacts us.

And perhaps you have experienced significant trauma but if you haven't, I know that there are people

in your life who have. And so, you know, we often just refer to trauma as, yeah, we know it affects

us, but we want to talk about how it affects us and how we can move towards healing. So let me

introduce my two guests today. They are both very special women who are going to guide us in this conversation.

Jessa Crisp, we had you on a recent job with Julie where you shared your testimony.

And your testimony is that you yourself have experienced pretty significant childhood trauma.

That is correct.

So on the last podcast we talked about my journey through commercial sex trafficking, and so that is part of my history.

As well as that coming out of a family.

A familial situation.

So that's deep.
