It's our last conversation of 2017, so we're taking this time to look ahead.

Today we'll discuss our words and resolutions for 2018.

No shouting, new insults, plenty of nuance.

Blessedly, this has been a slow news week.

I should not have said that.

That feels like saying your family hasn't been sick.

Okay, I should.

We take that back.

It's been so packed with news.

But nothing major to talk about.

I feel like.

I think that there are lots of things that we could talk about,

but none that would make for a very interesting wrap up of the year.

And a lot of the things that I've seen popping up,

at least cutting through the social media noise this week,

are super unproductive.

So that's a nice way of when I asked Beth,

nothing much has happened that we talked about.

She said nothing, but the president being an idiot.

Being productive about it.
